Delta is launching service to Barbados this December. New capacity usually leads to cheaper fares. At the moment, only American and JetBlue service Barbados from the United States. New capacity from Delta out of New York and Atlanta will help.

• January 23rd – 29th, 2015

Fare Availability:

• Valid for travel from January, 2015 – early February, 2015. Must purchase at least 14 days in advance of departure

How to Search for Availability:

• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:

• Departing from: DEN
• Outbound Advanced Routing Code: dl+
• Destination:  BGI
• Return Advanced Routing Code: dl+
• (Click on Advanced Routing Codes link to enable advanced routing code input)
• Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
• Length of stay “0-7″. The maximum range is 7 days, so enter ranges like so: 0-7, 5-12, 7-14, etc.

Sample Routing:

• DEN – SLC (Salt Lake City) – JFK (New York) – BGI (Barbados) – ATL (Atlanta) – DEN

Sample Mileage:

• 7,779 miles or 5.5 cents per mile.
