Delta and its partners are aggressively attacking United and its partners with fares to Turkey and Russia and many other destinations in Europe. Available from Houston (IAH) and Denver (DEN).

Here’s what we found for several destinations:

• Dublin [DUB]: ~$530
• Oslo [OSL]: ~$630
• Brussels [BRU]: ~$630
• Stockholm [ARN]: ~$636
• Lisbon [LIS]: ~$639
• Copenhagen [CPH]: ~$644
• Warsaw [WAW]: ~$653
• Prague [PRG]: ~$660

There are also destinations in the $700s and $800s, which is lower than normal for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. And destinations like Athens and Budapest are in the upper $600s. If you see new cities, let us know.

• Sample to Dublin from Denver
• January 21st – 29th

Fare Availability:

• Valid for travel from January 12th, 2015 – March 12th, 2015 for Sunday through Wednesday departures from the United States and Monday through Thursday departures to the United States with a 7 day minimum say. Must purchase at least 7 days in advance of departure.

How to Search for Availability:

• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:

• Departing from: DEN
• Outbound Advanced Routing Code: dl dl
• Destination:  DUB
• Return Advanced Routing Code: dl dl
• (Click on Advanced Routing Codes link to enable advanced routing code input)
• (For departures from Houston, replace “DEN” with “IAH” in the departure city field)
• (For other destinations, replace “DUB” with the respective airport code as listed above)
• Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
• Length of stay “0-7″. The maximum range is 7 days, so enter ranges like so: 0-7, 5-12, 7-14, etc.

Sample Routing:

• DEN – JFK (New York City) – DUB (Dublin) – JFK – DEN

Sample Mileage:

• 9,566 miles or 5.5 cents per mile

Get Tickets:

• Book on Orbitz using dates found on ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search.  Make sure “Additional search options” is selected then check “Narrow the search to my preferred airlines” and select “Delta Airlines”.
