A good sale to Nairobi. Star Alliance carriers (United, Air Canada, Lufthansa etc) has this for about $50 cheaper. But if you live in Detroit, you are likely a Delta flyer.

How to Search for Availability:

• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:

• Departing from: DTW
• Outbound Advanced Routing Code: ams
• Destination:  NBO
• Return Advanced Routing Code: ams
• (Click on Advanced Routing Codes link to enable advanced routing code input)
• Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
• Length of stay “0-7″. The maximum range is 7 days, so enter ranges like so: 0-7, 5-12, 7-14, etc.

• DTW – AMS (Amsterdam) – NBO (Nairobi) – AMS – DTW. Some segments will be operated by KLM under Delta flight numbers.

• 16,134 miles or 5.6 cents per mile
